The Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), the leading Skill University in India, is now offering a 3-year Bachelors in Vocation (B Voc.) degree program. Built on a combination of Practical, Theoretical and Generic course curriculum, the program is specifically designed to engage students in on-the-job training at real shop-floor of the industry alongside classroom theoretical training.
This program is specially meant for students looking to enhance their employability & employment prospects. It helps such students in learning, earning and growing professionally.

The three-year program is divided into 6 semesters; with 2 semesters per year. The unique proposition about the B.Voc. comes from the fact that it provides flexibility to the students by means of predefined entry an multiple exit points - students can leave at the end of the first year with a UG certificate, a the end" of the second year with an UG Diploma or at the end of third year with a Degree, with corresponding NSQF grades of Level 4.5 for UG certificate, Level 5 for UG Diploma and Level 5.5 for Degree.
Also, the curriculum of AISECT's B.Voc. is crafted in lines with National Occupational Standards (NOSs) of specific job roles across the industries. This enables the students to meet the learning outcomes specified in the NOSs.
Moreover, through this 'Earn while you Learn' approach model, the trainees can earn a modest stipend during their on-the-job duration of the program.
